Rafi ibn Amr al-Ghifari reported: I was a boy who used to throw stones at the date palms of the Ansar. I was brought before the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, “Boy, why are you throwing stones at the date palms?” I said, “I want to eat.” He said, “Then do not throw stones. Eat what has fallen beneath them.” Then he wiped his head and said, “O Allah, satisfy his hunger.” Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah narrated it.
