Utbah ibn al-Mundhir reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he recited the passage beginning Ta-Sin-Mim until he reached the story of Moses. He said: “Moses, peace be upon him, hired himself for eight or ten years in return for preserving his chastity and receiving food.” Ahmad and Ibn Majah narrated it.
