Anas reported: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, the Emigrants came to him and said, “Messenger of Allah, we have never seen people so generous with much or so kind in sharing what little they have as the people among whom we have settled. They have spared us the burden of expenses and shared with us in their good fortune, until we feared they would take all the reward.” He replied: “No, not as long as you pray to Allah for them and praise them.” Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and graded it authentic.
