وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: أَفَاضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ وَأَوْضَعَ فِي وَادِي مُحَسِّرٍ وَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَرْمُوا بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ وَقَالَ: «لَعَلِّي لَا أَرَاكُمْ بَعْدَ عَامِي هَذَا» . لَمْ أَجِدْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ إِلَّا فِي جَامِعِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ مَعَ تقديمٍ وَتَأْخِير

Jabir reported: The Prophet ﷺ departed from Jam‘ in a calm and dignified manner and instructed them to remain calm. He urged his mount through the valley of Muhassir and instructed them to throw pebbles like small stones. He said: “Perhaps I will not see you after this year of mine.” The compiler notes: I did not find this hadith in the two Sahih collections, but it is in Jami‘ al-Tirmidhi with some parts reordered.
