Arabic hadith text
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ رَمْيُ الْجِمَارِ وَالسَّعْيُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Translation

‘A’ishah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The stoning of the pillars and the walking between al-Safa and al-Marwah were prescribed only to establish the remembrance of Allah.” [Al-Tirmidhi and al-Darimi; al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan sahih hadith]
