It is recommended to cover vessels, tie up waterskins, close doors and mention the name of Allah over them, extinguish lamps and fires when going to sleep, and keep children and animals in after maghrib Sahih Muslim 2013 b
Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ زُهَيْرٍ
Translation
Jabir b. Abdullah reported this hadith through another chain of transmitters,
