Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ " .

Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Yunus narrated to us: Zuhayr narrated to us: Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever cannot find sandals may wear leather socks, and whoever cannot find a waist-wrapper may wear trousers.’
