Cupping is permissible for the Muhrim (pilgrim in Ihram) Sahih Muslim 1202
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ، عَبَّاسٍ - رضى الله عنهما - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلماحْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ .
Translation
Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) got himself cupped in the state of lhrim.
