Raml (walking rapidly) is recommended in the Tawaf of Umrah, and in the first Tawaf of Hajj Sahih Muslim 1261 c
Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَرْمَلَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَيَقْدَمُ مَكَّةَ إِذَا اسْتَلَمَ الرُّكْنَ الأَسْوَدَ أَوَّلَ مَا يَطُوفُ حِينَ يَقْدَمُ يَخُبُّ ثَلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ مِنَ السَّبْعِ .
Translation
Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported
I saw that when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to Mecca and kissed the Black Stone, (in the first circumambulation) he moved quickly in three circuits out of seven circuits.
