Raml (walking rapidly) is recommended in the Tawaf of Umrah, and in the first Tawaf of Hajj
Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ، وَابْنُ، جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمرَمَلَ الثَّلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ .
Translation
Jabir b." Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) walked swiftly in three circuitsfrom stone to stone.
