Arabic hadith text
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، - قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ طَيَّبْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ حِرْمِهِ قَالَتْبِأَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ.
Translation
'Uthman b. 'Urwa reported on the authority of his father that he said
I asked 'A'isha with what thing she perfumed the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at the time of entering upon the state of Ihram. She said: With the best of perfume.
