Zuhayr ibn Harb and Ibn Abi Umar narrated to me. Ibn Abi Umar said: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The people of Medina enter ihram from Dhul-Hulayfa; the people of Syria from al-Juhfa; and the people of Najd from Qarn.’ Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: It was reported to me—but I did not hear it myself—that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam.’
