Translation

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us; al-Qasim ibn al-Fadl al-Huddani narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, that ‘A’ishah said: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ stirred in his sleep, so we said, “Messenger of Allah, you did something in your sleep that you had never done before.” He replied: “How strange! Some people of my community will set out toward the House, following a man from Quraysh who has taken refuge there. When they reach the barren plain, they will be swallowed up.” We said, “Messenger of Allah, the road may bring all sorts of people together.” He replied: “Yes. Among them will be those who knowingly set out, those compelled to go, and travelers. They will all perish in one event, but will emerge in different states. Allah will resurrect them according to their intentions.”
