The Hour Will Not Begin Until The Euphrates Uncovers A Mountain Of Gold
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ، سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّكُونِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ،
اللَّهِ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "يُوشِكُ الْفُرَاتُ أَنْ يَحْسِرَ عَنْ كَنْزٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَمَنْ حَضَرَهُ فَلاَ
يَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا "
Translation
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying
The Last Hour would not come unless the Euphrates would uncover a treasure of gold, so he who finds it should not take anything out of that.
