Prohibition on Filing (The Teeth)
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُصَيْنِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ، قَالَ بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمنَهَى عَنِ الْوَشْرِ وَالْوَشْمِ .
Translation
It was narrated that Abu Raihanah said
"We heard that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade filing (the teeth) and tattoos."
