أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَشَعْرُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى نِصْفِ أُذُنَيْهِ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Anas that

The hair of the Prophet [SAW] came halfway down his ears.
