The Value for which, if it is stolen, the (Thief's) Hand is to be cut off

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَقَطَعَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رضى الله عنه فِي مِجَنٍّ قِيمَتُهُ خَمْسَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ‏.‏هَذَا الصَّوَابُ
Translation
It was narrated that Anas said

"Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, cut off (a thief's hand) for a shield that was worth five Dirhams.
