Encouragement to Earn A Living Sunan an-Nasa'i 4450
Arabic hadith text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَمَّةٍ، لَهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَالَإِنَّ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ مِنْ أَطْيَبِ كَسْبِكُمْ فَكُلُوا مِنْ كَسْبِ أَوْلاَدِكُمْ "
Translation
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said
"Your children are part of the best of your earnings, so eat from what your children earn."
