Selling Fruits Before Their Condition Is Known
Arabic hadith text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْبَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ .
Translation
It was narrated that Jabir said
"the Messenger of Allah forbade selling the fruit of date palms until they are fit to eat."
