Selling the Offspring of the Offspring of a Pregnant Animal (Habal Al-Habalah)
Arabic hadith text
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " السَّلَفُ فِي حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ رِبًا "
Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Propher said
"Paying in advance for the offspring of the offspring of a pregnant animal (Habal al-Habalah) is Riba''
