Sunan an-Nasa'i 3590
Arabic hadith text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ جَلَبَ وَلاَ جَنَبَ وَلاَ شِغَارَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ وَمَنِ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn Bazi' reported to us: Yazid—meaning Ibn Zuray'—narrated to us: Humayd narrated to us: al-Hasan narrated to us, from 'Imran ibn Husayn, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: ‘There is no jalab, janab, or shighar in Islam. Whoever seizes booty is not one of us.’
