Translation
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim reported to us. He said: Al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman informed us, from his father, from Abu 'Uthman, from Ibn Mas'ud, from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said: 'Bilal gives the call during the night to wake those of you who are sleeping and allow those standing in prayer to conclude. This call is not the one announcing dawn.' The narrator explains: meaning, the dawn call.
