'Amr ibn 'Ali reported to us. He said: Yahya narrated to us. He said: Shu'bah narrated to us. He said: Abu Ja'far narrated to me, from Abu al-Muthanna, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: During the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), the phrases of the adhan were said twice each, and the phrases of the iqamah once each, except that you say, 'The prayer has been established, the prayer has been established.'
