Reciting "By the fig and the olive" in Isha'
Arabic hadith text
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعَتَمَةَفَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ .
Translation
It was narrated that Al-Bara' bin Azib said
"I prayed Al-'Atamah (Isha') with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he recited 'By the gif and the olive' in it.
