On the authority of Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, the grandson and “rayhanah” of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: I memorized from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): “Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt.” It was narrated by al-Tirmidhi [no. 2520] and al-Nasa’i. Al-Tirmidhi said: “A hasan sahih hadith.”
