On the authority of Abu ‘Abd Allah Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with them both): A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), saying, “Tell me: if I perform the prescribed prayers, fast Ramadan, regard as lawful what is lawful, regard as forbidden what is forbidden, and add nothing to that, will I enter Paradise?” He said, “Yes.” [Narrated by Muslim].

The witness supplies a bracketed limitation to voluntary good deeds; the Arabic simply says the speaker would add nothing to that.
Is the witness’s bracket a sourced interpretation? The translation preserves the broader wording.
