Jundub ibn Abd Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
‘Among those who came before you was a man with a wound. He became distressed, took a knife, and cut his hand with it. The blood did not stop flowing until he died. Allah, Exalted is He, said, “My servant hastened his own death before Me; I have forbidden Paradise to him.”’
It was related by al-Bukhari.
