Arabic hadith text
وعن أبي سعيد المقبري عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، أنه مر بقوم بين أيديهم شاة مصلية، فدعوه فأبي أن يأكل، وقال: خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من الدنيا ولم يشبع من خبز الشعير. ((رواه البخاري)).
'مصلية' بفتح الميم: أي: مشوية.
Translation
Abu Sa'id Maqburi reported
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said that he happened to pass by some people who had a roast lamb before them. They invited him, but he declined, saying: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) left the world without having eaten his fill with barley bread."[Al- Bukhari].
