Arabic hadith text
وعن حذيفة بن اليمان رضى الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لعن من جلس وسط الحلقة. رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح.
وروى الترمذى عن أبى مجلز: أن رجلا قعد وسط الحلقة، فقال حذيفة: ملعون على لسان محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم -من جلس وسط الحلقة. قال الترمذى:"حديث حسن صحيح".
Translation
Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman (May Allah be pleased with him) reported
A man sat in the middle of a circle so Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: Cursed upon the tongue of Muhammad (ﷺ) or [he said] Allah has cursed upon the tongue of Muhammad (ﷺ) he who sits in the middle of the circle [of a gathering].
