The Superiority of Hastening to Break the Fast, and the supplication to say upon Breaking it Riyad as-Salihin 1235
Arabic hadith text
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال الله عز وجل: "أحب عبادي إلي أعجلهم فطرًا" ((رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن)).
Translation
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah the Most High says: 'From amongst my slaves, the quicker the one is in breaking the Saum (fasting), the dearer is he to me."'[At-Tirmidhi].
