حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: وَأَبُو مَالِكٍ هَذَا هُوَ: سَعْدُ بْنُ طَارِقِ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ، وَطَارِقُ بْنُ أَشْيَمَ هُوَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَادِيثَ

Qutaybah narrated to us. He said: Khalaf ibn Khalifah narrated to us, from Abu Malik al-Ashja'i, from his father, who said: Allah's Messenger (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: 'Whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me.' Abu 'Isa said: This Abu Malik is Sa'd ibn Tariq ibn Ashyam. Tariq ibn Ashyam was one of the Prophet's Companions, and he narrated hadiths from the Prophet.
