سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ حُجْرٍ، يَقُولُ‏:‏ قَالَ خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ‏:‏ رَأَيْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَأَنَا غُلامٌ صَغِيرٌ‏

Khalaf ibn Khalifa said

“I saw Amr ibn Huraith, the Companion of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), when I was a little boy.”
