حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا صَيْفِيُّ بْنُ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ خَسْفٌ وَمَسْخٌ وَقَذْفٌ " . قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ إِذَا ظَهَرَ الْخَبَثُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَائِشَةَ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ .

Abu Kurayb narrated to us: Sayfi ibn Rabi‘ narrated to us, from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar, from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Umar, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from ‘A’ishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘At the end of this community there will be a sinking of the earth, transformation, and pelting with stones.’ I said, ‘Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed while righteous people are among us?’ He replied, ‘Yes, when wickedness becomes widespread.’ Abu ‘Isa said: This is a gharib hadith from ‘A’ishah; we know it only through this route. Yahya ibn Sa‘id criticized ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar concerning his memory.

وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ .
The English witness gives the report and its answer but omits that this route is the only one known from ‘A’ishah and the criticism of the transmitter’s memory.
