Unreviewed translation. All hadiths in this collection are available in five languages. Titles and introductions may remain in Arabic.
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us: Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘The Hour will not come until no one on earth says, “Allah, Allah.”’ Abu ‘Isa said: This is a hasan hadith. Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us: Khalid ibn al-Harith narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, something similar, but he did not raise it to the Prophet. This version is more authentic than the first hadith.
Notes and open questions — unreviewed
The Arabic repeats the divine name as the sign that no one remains invoking Allah. The source explicitly says the second route is mawquf (not raised to the Prophet) and judges it more authentic than the first.
The Arabic adds a second, stopped route and says it is more authentic than the first; the English witness gives only the prophetic version.
Retain both transmission forms and Abu ‘Isa’s comparative judgment.
