Sa‘īd ibn ‘Abd al-Raḥmān narrated to us; Sufyān narrated to us, from al-Zuhrī, from Sa‘īd ibn al-Musayyab, from Abū Hurayrah, who said that the Messenger of Allah said: “When Kisrā is gone, there will be no Kisrā after him; and when Caesar is gone, there will be no Caesar after him. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, their treasures will surely be spent in the cause of Allah.”

Abū ‘Īsā said: This is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ hadith.
