حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَنْبَعِثَ دَجَّالُونَ كَذَّابُونَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ ثَلاَثِينَ كُلُّهُمْ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Maḥmūd ibn Ghaylān narrated to us; ‘Abd al-Razzāq narrated to us; Ma‘mar informed us, from Hammām ibn Munabbih, from Abū Hurayrah, who said that the Messenger of Allah said: “The Hour will not be established until impostors—nearly thirty of them—emerge, each claiming that he is a messenger of Allah.”
Abū ‘Īsā said: Reports on this topic are also related from Jābir ibn Samurah and Ibn ‘Umar. This is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ hadith.
