حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " تُقَاتِلُكُمُ الْيَهُودُ فَتُسَلَّطُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْحَجَرُ يَا مُسْلِمُ هَذَا يَهُودِيٌّ وَرَائِي فَاقْتُلْهُ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

‘Abd ibn Ḥumayd narrated to us; ‘Abd al-Razzāq narrated to us; Ma‘mar informed us, from al-Zuhrī, from Sālim, from Ibn ‘Umar, that the Messenger of Allah said: “The Jews will fight you, and you will be given power over them, until a stone says, ‘O Muslim, this Jew is behind me—so kill him.’”
He said: This is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ hadith.
