حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ قُطَيْبٍ السَّكُونِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ، صَاحِبِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْمَلْحَمَةُ الْعُظْمَى وَفَتْحُ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةِ وَخُرُوجُ الدَّجَّالِ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Abd al-Raḥmān narrated to us; al-Ḥakam ibn al-Mubārak informed us; al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us, from Abū Bakr ibn Abī Maryam, from al-Walīd ibn Sufyān, from Yazīd ibn Quṭayb al-Sakūnī, from Abū Baḥriyyah, a companion of Mu‘ādh, from Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal, from the Prophet, who said: “The great battle, the conquest of Constantinople, and the emergence of the Dajjāl will take place within seven months.”
Abū ‘Īsā said: Reports on this topic are also related from al-Ṣa‘b ibn Jaththāmah, ‘Abd Allāh ibn Busr, ‘Abd Allāh ibn Mas‘ūd, and Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī. This is a ḥasan gharīb hadith; we know it only through this chain.
