حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّكُمْ مَنْصُورُونَ وَمُصِيبُونَ وَمَفْتُوحٌ لَكُمْ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلْيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلْيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Maḥmūd ibn Ghaylān narrated to us; Abū Dāwūd narrated to us; Shu‘bah informed us, from Simāk ibn Ḥarb, who said: I heard ‘Abd al-Raḥmān ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn Mas‘ūd relate from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: “You will be given help, attain success, and conquests will be opened to you. Whoever among you lives to see that, let him be mindful of Allah, command what is right, and forbid what is wrong. Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.”
Abū ‘Īsā said: This is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ hadith.

The three expressions مَنْصُورُونَ وَمُصِيبُونَ وَمَفْتُوحٌ لَكُمْ describe aid, success, and lands being opened to the community.
