حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْجَانِّ وَعَيْنِ الإِنْسَانِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتِ الْمُعَوِّذَتَانِ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتَا أَخَذَ بِهِمَا وَتَرَكَ مَا سِوَاهُمَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Hisham ibn Yunus al-Kufi narrated to us; al-Qasim ibn Malik al-Muzani narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadr, from Abu Sa‘id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek refuge from the jinn and the evil eye of people until the two chapters of refuge (al-Mu‘awwidhatayn) were revealed. When they were revealed, he adhered to them and left aside everything else. Abu ‘Isa said: There is also a report on this topic from Anas. This is a hasan gharib hadith.
