What Has Been Related About: The (Evil) Eye Is Real, And Washing Due To It Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2061
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ، عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ, قال حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، قال حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي حَيَّةُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لاَ شَىْءَ فِي الْهَامِ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ "
Translation
"Hayyah bin Habis At-Tamimi narrated
My father narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying:"There is nothing to Al-Ham, and the eye is real."
