حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قال حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قال حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ ابْنَةِ وَهْبٍ، وَهِيَ جُدَامَةُ - قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَنْهَى عَنِ الْغِيَالِ فَإِذَا فَارِسُ وَالرُّومُ يَفْعَلُونَ وَلاَ يَقْتُلُونَ أَوْلاَدَهُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَالْغِيَالُ أَنْ يَطَأَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ تُرْضِعُ .

Ahmad ibn Mani‘ narrated to us; Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us; Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Nawfal, from ‘Urwah, from ‘A’ishah, from the daughter of Wahb—Judamah. She said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, ‘I intended to forbid ghilah, but then I considered that the Persians and Romans do this and do not kill their children.’ Abu ‘Isa said: There is also a report on this topic from Asma’ bint Yazid. This is a hasan sahih hadith. Malik narrated it from Abu al-Aswad, from ‘Urwah, from ‘A’ishah, from Judamah bint Wahb, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Malik said: Ghilah is when a man has intercourse with his wife while she is nursing.
