حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، وَثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " حُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ وَحُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘Paradise is surrounded by things that are difficult, and the Fire is surrounded by desires.’ Abu ‘Isa said: ‘This hadith is hasan gharīb sahīh through this chain.’
