Suwaid bin Nasr informed us: Ibn Al-Mubarak informed us: Isma'il bin Muslim informed us, from Al-Hasan and Qatadah, from Anas, from the Prophet, who said: ‘On the Day of Resurrection, the son of Adam will be brought like a young lamb and made to stand before Allah. Allah will say to him: “I gave to you, granted you gifts, and bestowed blessings upon you. What did you do?” He will reply: “I gathered and increased it, leaving more than I had found. Send me back, and I will bring it all to You.” Allah will say: “Show Me what you sent ahead.” He will repeat: “My Lord, I gathered and increased it, leaving more than I had found. Send me back, and I will bring it all to You.” If the servant has sent no good deeds ahead, he will be taken to the Fire.’ Abu 'Isa said: More than one narrator reported this from Al-Hasan as his own statement, without attributing it to the Prophet. Isma'il bin Muslim is considered weak in hadith because of his memory. Reports on this topic are also narrated from Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri.
