Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ،قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ،قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ،قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارٌ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنُ الإِسْنَادِ صَحِيحٌ .
Translation
Nasr ibn ‘Ali al-Jahdami narrated to us: Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us: Khalid al-Hadhdha’ narrated to us: ‘Ammar, the client of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that the Prophet ﷺ died at the age of sixty-five. Abu ‘Isa said: This is a hadith with a hasan chain, sahih.
