Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3670
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرٌ أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ جُمَيْعِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ " أَنْتَ صَاحِبِي عَلَى الْحَوْضِ وَصَاحِبِي فِي الْغَارِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ .
Yusuf ibn Musa al-Qattan al-Baghdadi narrated to us: Malik ibn Isma‘il narrated to us, from Mansur ibn Abi al-Aswad, who said: Kathir Abu Isma‘il narrated to me, from Jumay‘ ibn ‘Umayr al-Taymi, from Ibn ‘Umar, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Bakr: ‘You are my companion at the Pond and my companion in the cave.’ This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith.
