Translation

Qutaybah narrated to us: Ibn Abi Fudayk narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn al-Muttalib, from his father, from his grandfather ‘Abdullah ibn Hantab: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Abu Bakr and ‘Umar and said, ‘These two are hearing and sight.’ Reports on this topic are also related from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr. This is a mursal hadith; ‘Abdullah ibn Hantab did not meet the Prophet ﷺ.
