Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3673
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِقَوْمٍ فِيهِمْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنْ يَؤُمَّهُمْ غَيْرُهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .
Nasr ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Kufi narrated to us: Ahmad ibn Bashir narrated to us, from ‘Isa ibn Maymun al-Ansari, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from ‘A’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘A people among whom Abu Bakr is present should not be led in prayer by anyone else.’ Abu ‘Isa said: This is a hasan gharib hadith.
