Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَرَ بِسَدِّ الأَبْوَابِ إِلاَّ بَابَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ .
Translation
Muhammad ibn Humayd narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn al-Mukhtar narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Rashid, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Urwah, from ‘A’ishah: The Prophet ﷺ ordered that the doors be closed except the door of Abu Bakr. This is a gharib hadith through this route. Abu Sa‘id also reported on this topic.
