حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ابْنُ أَخِي، يَحْيَى بْنِ عِيسَى الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عِيسَى الرَّمْلِيُّ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ لَقَدْ عَهِدَ إِلَىَّ النَّبِيُّ الأُمِّيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَنَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّكَ إِلاَّ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلاَ يَبْغَضُكَ إِلاَّ مُنَافِقٌ " . قَالَ عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَنَا مِنَ الْقَرْنِ الَّذِينَ دَعَا لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
‘Isa ibn ‘Uthman, the nephew of Yahya ibn ‘Isa al-Ramli, narrated to us: Yahya ibn ‘Isa al-Ramli narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from ‘Adi ibn Thabit, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, from ‘Ali, who said: The unlettered Prophet ﷺ enjoined this upon me: ‘None loves you except a believer, and none hates you except a hypocrite.’ ‘Adi ibn Thabit said: I am among the generation for whom the Prophet ﷺ supplicated. Abu ‘Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih.
